Sewer Overflow Abatement Plan Public Input Meeting!
By: Montaze Trumbo
Learn. Share. Comment. Be a part of the solution to keep sewer rates low. MSD is in your area and will be holding a community discussion on the sewer system that affects your home. Learn what a 2005 Federal Mandate requires us to do to lessen sewer overflows, why overflows occur, and what you can do to help protect our environment and save costs. Join us to discuss Louisville Metro’s sewer overflow abatement plan.
The meeting will review the Integrated Overflow Abatement Plan along with an overview of the Muddy Fork Pump Station Force Main, Muddy Fork Interceptor Basin, Logan Street Basin, and the Mellwood Avenue CSOs Green Infrastructure and Inline Storage Project.
